i used to keep this space for fun stuff, web toys people could play with,
and maintain my old "about me" content. in the new age of the web, the
toys were all exploited by spambots (including my new blog), and "home pages"
came out of vogue. so here is what is left -- some about-me content, a link
to my personal blog, and a link to some images i've made.
