my desk at work. it contains the essentials: carbonated bevorage, books fresh from the bookstore (and paid for by the employer), standard-issue office supplies, and lots of paper.

most of the computers are on my desk are pc's. the one on the left is running linux and is my systems monitoring terminal. the other computer is a win95 box used for quick, 30 second tasks.

the main computer on my desk at work is the sgi indy. also pictured are the tools i use for work: digitally reproduced music and sugar (m-and-m's).

this is me. i'm having a good day in the picture here.

i have a security badge for work. these pictures further demonstrate that i never show a toothy-smile for pictures. the only exception is my california drivers' license.

i've fully lined my cubical at work with light purple colored bubble pack. it emulates a padded cell and gives a nice relaxing tone to the immediate environment.. a feeling the stale grey cubicle walls just don't provide. people usually ask me if the bubble pack deafens the sound around my cubicle; it doesn't.
